Jeepster Jim restored two cars for friends of mine and they highly recommended him and his team for the quality of their work, their timeliness and also their communication throughout the process. I contacted Jim and he agreed to take on the project of restoring my 1971 Mercedes 280SL Pagoda. Upon receiving the car they took it down to the metal and gutted the entire interior. Jim kept me informed though each step of the restoration with emails, text messages and photographs. They finished my car on time and within the original quote for the restoration (a very rare quality in this day and time). I hope when he sees this review that he will post before and after pictures so you can see their first class work. When the car was delivered all I could say was WOW! WOW! WOW! Thank you to Jim and all at Jeepster Jim's for a first class restoration.

My Christmas came early!! My Jeepster just came back from Jeepster Jim in Florida. My poor girl had a miss hap back in October. Her distributor gave out and I had to have her towed. Unfortunately we had a very bad experience with the tow truck driver that didn’t tie her down properly and also while unloading her hit her in the front end. No one in the St. Louis Area could properly repair the damage, so Hagerty Insurance Agreed to have her repaired in Florida at (Jeepster Jims) so we had her shipped. Jim and his crew worked there magic and made her very beautiful again.. I can’t thank them enough!!

I told Jim I wanted a driver, and boy did I get a nice one! Heads turn every time I go out in it. The car is wonderful. I had a small repair issue, and Jim was right there to tell me what to do and how to fix it. I love this guy!!

Thank you very much for preparing the Jeep so beautifully for me, and suggesting to me to enlist Alan to transport it, and to do it via closed cabin. The Jeep arrived today, a few days ahead of schedule, and in a very nice manner. The drivers were very professional, efficient and courteous. I first found Jeepsterjim while trying to find parts to restore our 1950 jeepster. Ours was different from most as it had been modified to a four wheel drive before we acquired it. Jim patiently worked through my many questions and request before I finally realized it would be best if I just took it to his shop for full restoration. He gave me a price I was pleased with so we took our jeepster to Florida for a much needed makeover. We wanted a Jeepster that looked original and could reliably drive but still had our four wheel drive capability. Jeepster Jim’s shop finished our 1950 jeepster restoration and worked closely with us to chose the finishes. We have had so much fun driving the car and only get Ooooos and Ahhhhhs when out on the road. Jim has worked with us several times for changes and modifications we requested. We have also been on all the jeepster trips Jim has organized since our first meeting and have made many lifelong “Jeepster” friends.

We are so lucky to have found Jeepsterjim. Not being an automobile mechanic, we wanted a Jeepster that we could enjoy and drive, and not sit in the garage waiting for parts that might not solve a problem. Jim finished a 1949 Concours restoration for us in 2015 and we chose the colors and options. What a fun car that gets attention when out on the road. Jim and his friendly staff have always been available for questions, tuneups, and minor repairs. We have had no down time to date. The grandkids love to ride anytime around town. As an added bonus, Jim has organized Jeepster trips where we have met other great Jeepster owners and been able to drive the country side and socialize. No regrets for spending the extra money and working with jeepsterjim for a dependable Classic Jeepster.

We met Jeepster Jim and his lovely wife Chaidi back in 2014 when Jim, put together a Jeepster trip from Florida to California. My wife and I thought this would be a fun trip since we dated in our 50 model back in 67. However, our 50 was not I talked to Jim and. we worked a trade out for another 50 he had in his inventory and we made the deal and got in the trip to California. This was a leap of faith on my part, for I knew nothing about the Jeepster except for Jim's assurance that he thought it would make the trip just fine. That is a 3000 mile plus trip over 17 days, and to our delight, he was true to his word, the old stock 4 cylinder not only made the trip but held her own with several others. We have since made several trips to places like Nova Scotia , Florida keys, Texas, Arkansas, Nashville and others in this 50 Jeepster. You rarely find a salesman with integrity and that stands behind his evaluations. His business has an excellent shop crew who serviced and made repairs as we continued our trips prior to the pandemic, and we have more planned, but the side benefit, to all this is the meeting of so many other Jeepster owners who have had great experiences of buying Jeepsters , and having Jim perform various maintenance and repairs. His quality of work is second to none, and they do beautiful restorations.

Very pleased with the frame off restoration Jeepster Jim and crew did on our 49 Jeepster, “Miss Daisy”. “Miss Daisy” garnered best of show in her very first show and has won numerous trophies in all shows we have entered. Jeepster Jim’s attention to detail was exactly what we were looking for and what we received. With each invoice we received a written report along with pictures on what was done on our project. Top notch job and highly recommend!
